Here is our calendar kit and class calendar for this month.  I am waiting on some special papers to arrive and then I will post pictures of the new classes, card workshops and kits.

Here is the Halloween mini album we will be making this month.

You will have a choice of vintage inspired postcards to use on the front cover.  The pages are library pockets so there is lots of room for pictures.  Registration is now open.

Game On!! Crop

Good Morning!

Come join us for the last 2-day Crafting Crop of 2016!

This crop is going to be all about games; sports, cards, board games and more.

All crafters are welcome. This is a great place to have fun and fellowship with like-minded friends.

There will be challenges and games to be played with fun prizes to be won! There is also going to be Food, Food, and more Food, LOL.

So, pack up your crafty supplies and join us for this fun 2-day weekend crafting crop.

Registration starts September 1st and ends September 30th. 

Early bird registration is September 1st-16th the cost is $35.00 per day, September 17th-23rd the cost will be $40.00 per day, and September 24th-30th the cost will be $50.00 per day. You can come to the store to pay or I can take your information on the phone. 

Please don't wait too long to register, this crop will fills up fast.

September Class Calendar

Good Afternoon!

Here is our calendar for classes this month.  There are a lot of great

offerings for paper crafters and quilters.  Here is a short rundown of

the classes.

We have three (3) mini album classes for you!!  Two of them are

stash busters, you provide the paper and I teach you how to create the basic albums.  The third album is a fun Halloween mini.

We will be starting up our card workshops this month.  We’re

starting with fun fall and cute Halloween cards.

For my quilters we will be starting a new quilt this month.  This

time we are making a rag quilt.  There is a Christmas tree and

presents in the design.  For those of you that have already talked to me about this class, please note the change of the date for the first class offering.

It's August!!!

Oh my goodness.  I cannot believe it is August already.  It has surely been a HOT summer here in South Alabama. 

Well, two things have been on my mind, de-stashing (out with the old and in with the new) and the holidays.  I know, I know  :/  I just heard your collective sigh but they will be here before we know it!

My classes this month have been designed to help you both of these things.  I am teaching two mini album classes.  For both of them you will be providing all of the supplies.  You know you have a lot of beautiful paper just sitting there waiting to become a wonderful mini album. 

Think gifts!  They are both very versatile albums and you will gain the skills to be able to create them over and over again. 

I’m also starting to plan the next crop!!!!  The GAME ON!! Crop will be October 7^th & 8^th.  Mark your calendars so you don’t miss it.  This will be the last two day crop this year.  More information soon J

This Week

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Well, it's a bit soggy here but at least we can be inside, dry & cool, crafting away :)

This week I have 2 classes scheduled:
Thursday is the Summer Mini-Mini Album, 11:00am - 1:30pm. This is great mini for your summer vacation pictures.  It is the 3rd in a series of 4 mini-minis but can easily stand on it's own.

Saturday is the final class on the Yellow Brick Road Quilt Class. We will be making our "quilt sandwich" and learning how to quilt on our machines!  I am so excited to see how your quilt tops came together :)

June Quilt Class

Good Morning!!

We are getting excited to start our quilt project.  I want to share a picture of the pattern we are going to be using.  

It is called Yellow Brick Road.  So far I haven't seen anyone choose yellow to be in their quilt, lol.  This pattern will work with any color scheme you like.  
Come join us on Saturday, June 4th at 11:00am.  This is the first of three (3) classes.  All You need to bring to this first class is twelve (12) fat quarters, cutting mat, ruler, and rotary cutter.

O Happy Day Mini Album Class

June Quilt Class

Good Morning!

Are you ready to start a quilting project? 

We are going to be starting a lap quilt on Saturday, June 4^th.  This quilt will be made from fat quarters.  You need to have sewing knowledge but this is a good challenge for beginners.

We are going to meet three (3) times throughout June & July.  Each class will be $20 and last for approximately two (2) hours with two (2) hours of working time following the class.  Yes, I’m afraid there will be homework, lol. 

Come to the store by Saturday, May 28^th to register for the class and get all the information for what you will need on class day.

National Scrapbook Day - Saturday, May 7th

Saturday is National Scrapbook Day, are you ready to crop?!

We will be croppin’ 10:30 until 6:00, or maybe later, lol.  Come join us and get your Mother’s Day cards or gifts finished or maybe you have a Graduate gift to work on.  You’ll have at least 7 hours of uninterrupted time.

May Card Workshop

Good Morning!

Here are the cards we are making this week and they are only         $ 4.00 a piece.  Come on in and make a special card for your Mom and/or Graduate.  The graduation shaker card can be made in blue, black, or red.  The Thank You card is a fun inking technique called Bokeh.

Graduation and Thank you cards will be available all month, Tuesday -Thursday, and Saturdays during store hours.
