New Mini Album Class

First a BIG Thank you to all of you that signed up for Kat's Kit Club!  I have sold out of the original kits, but if you would like to join I have made up a few more so call me, 334-464-0669, or e-mail me at katandjunebugs@gmail.com, and I'll get you set up!

I am having a new mini album class on Saturday, November 19th.  This is great mini to start with if you have never made one before but is also a great technique for those of you that are experienced with mini's.  This one has been designed as a recipe book but could easily be used for a picture/story book.  It is made with the Echo Park Happy Holiday's Line. 

The class is only 1 hour long to construct the mini but you are welcome to stay after and embellish to your heart's desire :)  You will need to bring you basic class tool kit with you plus scortape/red line tape and a scoring tool or at least a bone folder.

This class is filling up fast so please register as soon as possible so you won't miss out on this great class!  Registration will close on Saturday, November 10th at 4:00pm.

Kat's Kit Club!

 

I am thrilled to tell you about the new Layout kit club I have started.  Every month you will receive a kit to make a two page layout.  Everything will be cut for you.  All you have to do is glue! 

 

Here are the rules:

 

*  You are required to make a 6 month commitment.  After 6 months you can decide to continue at 3 month intervals.

*  When you sign up, I will record your credit card information and automatically charge your account on the date of your choice each month (between the 1st and the 5th)

*  If you live out of town it will be mailed to you at no extra charge.

 

The introductory price will only be......... $12.00 per month!

If you decide to wait until December to start the Club,  the cost will be $15.00 per month.

Fall Shadow Box Class Today

I am having a great Fall class today.  It's a shadowbox for home decor.  There is space where you could put a family photo.  This would make a great gift.

 

My class today is from 1:00pm - 2:30pm.  I have a couple of spots still available.  If you can't make it today I am going to hold it in November a couple of times.

New Christmas Papers!

Good Morning Everyone!

Doesn't this chilly weather just get you in the mood to start you Christmas crafting?  I have gotten in some beautiful new Echo Park Paper lines.  One for Fall and two for Christmas.

The owls are so stinkin' cute!

Look for post this week for a fun class we will be having this month using this paper.

I love the Santa in this line and the colors are perfect!

 

I will post my November calendar in a couple of days.  I have a lot of announcements comming for fun holiday classes, open house, events to help you get the papercrafting supplies you want for Christmas this year, and a couple of new teachers, so stay tuned.

Spooky Weekend!

Happy Monday Everyone

We had a wonderfully SPOOKY time this weekend. 
Check out what Susie Taylor made with her Cricut and the Happy Hauntings cartridge.  This is so COOL!

Football Paper is Here!

Happy Monday my scrappin' friends!

Just wanted to remind you that I am closed on Mondays now but I will be open tomorrow at 10:00am like always.

On Friday I got in some cool football themed paper by Echo Park (sorry for the glare).  Just in time to scrap your child's amazing games!  I also have some football die cuts ready on the embellishment bar.

October Calendar

So sorry about the delay.  Sometimes me and technology just don't jive, lol!

Welcome Fall! I absolutely love cool weather. It really put me in the crafting mood.

Here is my calendar for this month. I have some fun classes ready for you. World Cardmaking Day is Saturday, October 6th. I will be having a card workshop where you will make 4 cards for only $10.00.

The Halloween mini album class is so cool! Once you learn how it goes together you will be able to make a mini album for any occasion. This class is being offered three times this month.

There will also be a Halloween Crop at the end of the month. Costumes are optional but it will be super fun if everyone dresses up!

 

Just like last month I have left a few days open so that I can do classes with you if you can't make any of my scheduled times. Just contact me and I will work with you to to fit your schedule.

There is one big change on this calendar. I have decided to close on Mondays. If you have a group that would like too meet or have a class on a Monday, again, just contact me and I will work with you to make it happen.

Stop by soon and enjoy all the paper goodness! The store is getting more and more festive. There will be new paper lines arriving all month and we have new gift items coming in also.

This weeks Make & Take

Hope you all have had a chance to enjoy this wonderful weather this weekend.

This weeks Happening's

Happy Monday!

Hope you all had a great weekend.  It is so nice to see sunshine today.

Here are the highlights for this weeks classes and events.

This is the last week to sign up for the Tattered Angels classes with Stacye DeWid.  She will be here ALL DAY Friday, August 24th.  I am so EXCITED!.  If you can't make it by the store to register just call and we can register you with your credit card. 

There are three different Cricut classes this week and there will be a cardmaking workshop on Saturday, August 18th.  The workshop is setup so you can work at your own pace. I provide everything you need to make 4 greeting cards.  The workshop will be from 10:30am-2:30pm and is only $10.00.

Even with all the classes that are scheduled the crop area is open for your use.  The only time it is not available is when there is a large event planned, such as the Tattered Angels event on Friday, August 24th.  So call a couple of friends and come spend some time with me playing with paper!

August Events & Calendar

Good Afternoon!

Lots of exciting things happening this month.  New classes, crops, and fun make and takes. 

One of the most exciting events we are having is Stacye DeWid with Tattered Angels will be here to teach 3 classes on August 24th!  I have extended sign up until August 10th.  Don't miss the chance to learn from a nationally known teacher.   

Tattered Techniques

Journey Canvas Layout

Springtime Mini Album

Tattered Techniques - 10:30am-12:30 pm  $40
In this class you will immerse yourself into a world of all things glimmery. You will play with ALL of the Tattered Angels paint mediums including, Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Chalkboard, Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Glaze. You will learn to blend, create backgrounds, mask, bees wax resist, and a few other fun techniques! Your finished project can be used as a Tattered Angels reference book or throw some pictures in it and it can be a mini album!

Journey Canvas Layouts - 2:00pm-4:00pm $45
Come along on a fun misting "journey" with Stacye as you create 2 separate layouts. You will mist, glam, glaze, and play with canvas all while learning a few fun techniques.

Springtime Mini Album - 6:00pm-9:00pm $50
In this technique filled class you will mist, glam, glaze, and use several other mediums to create a unique album to share with friends and family.

 I told you it was exciting! You will need to bring your class/workshop kit with you.

These classes are for everyone not just scrapbookers. You will learn many techniques that can be used for cardmaking, scrapbooking and altered art projects.

There is a bonus gift for those of you that register before August 10^th.  You can register at the store or call to register with your credit card.
