Texturized Card Class

Cards are not only fun to create but a great way to learn a variety of techniques on small and individual works of art! You will make 4 different 6x6" cards in this class focusing on elements that will add texture and interest....and of course we will be altering these items with lots of Ranger inks, stamps, embossing powders, mists and more!
*Note: if you are strictly a scrapbooker and don't make cards, the techniques and designs you make in class could also be incorporated in to a mini-book.  I promise I won't be insulted : )
**PLEASE BRING TO CLASS...Heat Gun, sewing needle with a larger eye (tapestry needle is fine), Ink blending tool and blending foam if you have one

IMAGINE THE POSSIBILITIES MINI-BOOK (3 hours)

Imagine the Possibilities Mini Book

Take your creativity up a few notches with this little book that packs a punch with all of the techniques you will learn!
You will construct this chubby little mini-book from a Tim Holtz Die but we will be focusing on an easy stitched book binding technique and working with Distress Stains in a variety of ways.  Plus we will mix in some Idea-ology embellishments, Sticky Back canvas, my favorite Basic Grey Paper, Tim's stamps from Stamper's Anonymous, Texture fades, fabric, Stickles and put it all together to make a fabulous little book ready for you to scrap or add your art journaling!
They say the best things come in small packages and this is no exception...the ideas and techniques in this class will have your mind imagining all of the things you will be able to create next!!
(Note:  Title and words in the charms are optional and you will have choices in class)
*Please bring a variety of adhesives including something strong such as Glossy Accents or Multi medium, scissors, pencil, tapestry needle if you have one, paper trimmer and an awl or something to poke small holes with

Kits are available for both classes for $25 each.
Kits will come pre-die cut, embossed, butterfly and Imagine title stamped.  Students will need to provide e-mail address to receive instructions and provide their own Distress Stains and ink pads in colors of their choice and variety of stamps for the inside
